The training is a killer combo of theory, hands-on practice in confined water, and dives in the actual sea, so you’ll nail the skills you need to dive safely. We’ve organized the courses into progressive levels – from your very first breath underwater to advanced courses, mind-blowing specialties, and pro-level programs.
Beginner diving courses are built for total newbies who want to experience the underwater world safely. We’ll get you dialed in with the gear, master your buoyancy, and take you on your first mind-blowing dives in the sea with our obsessed-with-diving instructors.

Professional training to become a dive guide and be part of a dive center team. Course or internship mode with assistance in Open Water and Advanced courses.
Professional certification to teach diving courses and work as an instructor in centers around the world. Approximate duration of 2–3 weeks with training to teach courses from Open Water.
Diving specialties are courses aimed at certified divers who want to develop specific skills and expand their underwater experience. Each specialty is an advanced SSI diving course that allows you to perfect skills such as buoyancy, underwater navigation or photography.
Wreck diving specialty to explore sunken ships and learn basic penetration and exploration techniques. Includes 2 wreck dives.
SSI specialty to plan and carry out deep dives, extending the limits of recreational diving (up to 40 meters). Includes 3 deep dives.
SSI specialty to learn how to dive with enriched air (Nitrox) and optimize the planning of your dives. Longer bottom time with theoretical course and dive option.
SSI Specialty to explore further underwater using an underwater scooter (DPV). Includes 2 dives with practice in DPV control and handling.
Diving specialty to plan and execute dives with mandatory decompression stops safely. Includes 3 dives with planning and management.
Advanced wreck diving specialty to explore the interior of sunken ships with penetration techniques. Includes 4 dives with advanced wreck exploration techniques.
SSI Specialty to learn how to plan and execute night dives with orientation and safety techniques. Includes 2 night dives with flashlight use and underwater navigation.
SSI Specialty to improve your underwater control and achieve greater stability and efficiency in each dive. Includes 2 dives with advanced buoyancy control techniques.
SSI Specialty to learn how to orient yourself underwater using a compass and natural references. Includes 2 dives with navigation techniques and return to the starting point.
SSI Specialty to locate and recover objects underwater applying systematic search methods. Includes 2 dives with search techniques and use of lift bags.
SSI Specialty to learn to recognize species and families of Mediterranean fish during your dives. Includes 2 dives with marine life identification techniques.
SSI Specialty to understand how marine ecosystems work and the relationships between species. Includes 1 dive focused on the study of the underwater environment.
SSI Specialty to understand the scientific basis of diving and the physical and physiological principles of each dive. Theoretical course on physics, physiology and decompression theory.
SSI Specialty to learn how to capture images and videos underwater with basic underwater photography techniques. Includes 2 dives with underwater photography and video practice.

The training combines digital theory (e-learning) with practical exercises and real dives in the sea, in some of the best diving spots in Malta, near our school in St. Julian’s.
Yes. All courses include complete diving equipment in excellent condition, regularly checked, as well as insurance during training.
The duration depends on the level. Introductory courses such as Open Water Diver can be completed in 2–3 days, while advanced and professional courses require more time depending on the program and certification requirements.
Our certified instructors teach the diving courses in Malta in English, Spanish, Italian, French and German, working in small groups and always prioritizing safety and quality of teaching.
