In this 2–3 hour activity, we’ll teach you how to use the diving equipment, you’ll learn to breathe underwater, and you’ll complete a real open water dive; always accompanied by a professional instructor.

Also known as a discover scuba diving experience, it’s the perfect way to enter the underwater world in a simple, fun and accessible way. The goal is to enjoy the sea and try diving in a safe, controlled environment, always accompanied by a professional instructor.
During the activity you’ll learn the core concepts of diving and witness marine life while experiencing the unbelievable sensation of weightlessness underwater for the first time.

We’ll kick things off with a fun, simple talk, breaking down the core concepts of diving and how the gear works.
After that, we’ll get you geared up with our help. Our diving equipment is top-notch and brand new.
Before the real deal, we’ll do a quick comfort check in a shallow area where you can stand safely.
You’ll practice breathing with the regulator and getting comfy with the mask. Once you’re feeling good, you’ll nail some basic exercises, always with your instructor.
When you’re ready, you’ll complete a real dive in the sea alongside your instructor. You’ll explore Malta’s fascinating marine life at a maximum depth of 12 metres, always at your own pace and under constant professional supervision.

The dive lasts between 40 and 50 minutes – give or take, depending on how you’re breathing and how comfy you are down there. The whole shebang, from the moment you walk in to when you’re bragging about it afterwards, is about 3 hours.
The waters around St. Julian’s? Dude, they’re a visual feast right from your first plunge. Expect to be blown away by schools of white seabream, damselfish, octopuses doing their thing, and starfish galore, plus all the other awesome Mediterranean critters.
At the end of your dive, you’ll score your digital SSI try diving recognition. It’s not a full-blown certification, but it’s official proof you took the plunge and lived to tell the tale!
Safety is EVERYTHING on your try dive. If the sea’s playing rough and conditions aren’t ideal, we’ll reschedule your dive or hook you up with a killer alternative.
If the dive can’t happen because Mother Nature’s throwing a tantrum or for safety reasons, we’ll get you rescheduled or find another awesome option.

The try dive is your gateway drug to the underwater world – perfect for getting a taste of scuba with a guide by your side. A diving course is the real deal: full-on training, theory, practice, and a shiny official certification. You can jump straight into a course without ever doing a try dive, but why would you?!
You can do a try dive from age 10. As long as you’re cool in the water and, if you’re a minor, you’ve got the thumbs-up from your folks.
