The specialty focuses on the study of Mediterranean habitats, the relationships between species, and the human impact on the marine environment, combining structured theory with practical application in immersion. At the end, you will obtain the official SSI Marine Ecology certification.
During the course, you will develop responsible interaction criteria and apply good conservation practices during the dive.
You will understand how rocky reefs, Posidonia meadows, and other characteristic habitats of Malta are structured.
You will learn to interpret trophic chains, predation dynamics, and factors that influence biodiversity.
