SSI Specialty to dive with enriched air and optimize your dive planning
Optimize your dives and take your planning to the next level with the Nitrox diving course in Malta.
The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty allows you to use enriched air to reduce nitrogen absorption and make the most of each dive, especially in repetitive profiles or diving trips.
You will learn to calculate your maximum operating depth (MOD), analyze your mix before each dive, and correctly configure your dive computer.
The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox course is a specialty that enables you to use oxygen-enriched air in your recreational dives.
During the training you will learn to calculate the maximum operating depth (MOD), manage oxygen exposure and correctly analyze a bottle before each dive.
It is a theoretical training of 4 to 6 hours, with the option of adding a dive to apply the knowledge in the water. At the end you will obtain the official SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification.
Diving with Nitrox allows you to optimize your planning and make the most of each dive. The main advantages of enriched air are:
Malta is an ideal destination to take advantage of the benefits of diving with Nitrox thanks to the great variety of dive sites and the intense diving activity during stays of several days.
The use of enriched air allows you to optimize nitrogen management and reduce surface intervals, which is especially useful when you make several dives during a diving trip in Malta.
For this reason, the Nitrox course is one of the most recommended specialties for divers who make diving trips or days with several dives.
Our SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty course includes everything you need to safely use enriched air and plan your dives correctly.

Access to the official SSI eLearning with specific content on Nitrox mixtures, oxygen management, MOD calculation and dive planning.

Practical review of calculations, bottle analysis and computer configuration under direct supervision.

Use an oxygen analyzer to verify the mixture before each dive. Option to add 1 dive with Nitrox.

Issuance of an internationally recognized certification that enables you to dive with enriched air.

I couldn’t recommend them enough, Mireia and her team were great!! 🤿 Héctor SAIZTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Alistair EvansTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I booked a short trip to Malta for diving, and Scuba Malta was absolutely the right choice of dive centre to choose. Enol runs a well organised dive shop, his communication is great and was a very good guide on our shore and wreck dives. Iris, Bruno and Stephanie were trainee dive masters who dived with us over the three days and they were very good divers in the water and very helpful at the dive sites too. I'd thoroughly recommend diving with this shop, it will be worth every euro. Fiona KinghornTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Christian WirthTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
