The SSI Scuba Diver course is an international certification built for those who want to start diving with official training but have limited time or prefer a more compact option than the Open Water Diver.
It’s a 1-day program that allows you to dive up to 12 meters deep accompanied by a professional, and covers approximately half of the content of the Open Water course.
During the course, you’ll learn the basics of recreational diving: equipment handling, buoyancy control, underwater communication, and essential safety procedures.
The SSI Scuba Diver course is developed in three progressive phases that combine theory, hands-on practice, and real experience in the sea.
We’ll start with a fun and simple theoretical talk, where we’ll explain the basic concepts of diving and how the equipment works.
Afterwards, you’ll get kitted out with our help. The diving equipment is top-notch and completely new.
Before the dive, we’ll perform a brief comfort check in a shallow area where you can safely stand.
You’ll practice breathing with the regulator and using the mask for the first time. Once comfortable, you’ll perform some basic exercises always accompanied by your instructor.
